Turn double-page scans into single pages

  1. Upload one unlocked PDF with two pages side by side.
  2. Review automatic splitting and cleanup. Set any page to Automatic, Split or Keep whole, adjust its cut, rotate it, or change cleanup.
  3. Choose Original size, A4 or US Letter and download one PDF. Reading order and per-page settings stay under your control.

Automatic mode starts with deskew and guarded whitening. It keeps uncertain layouts and native PDF pages whole, protects photographs and colour, and can need your correction. Existing text and vector artwork stay native. Maximum upload: 100 MB and 100 source pages.

Original size preserves proportions. A4 and US Letter fit both halves at one common scale. Compact storage is the default; Lossless is available. Choose cleanup Off to preserve original scan bytes. Stronger whitening, black and white, fine-speck reduction and solid-edge removal are optional. Forms require Original size and Keep whole.

This tool does not perform OCR, flatten curved book pages or rearrange booklet signatures. Review important documents before use.

How do I split a scanned PDF page in half?

Upload your PDF and review the automatic before/after preview. The tool suggests a split where it finds a clear separation and keeps uncertain pages whole. Override any page with Split or Keep whole, adjust the cut from 10% to 90%, and choose your reading order.

Can I turn double-page scans into single pages?

Yes. A double-page scan shows two facing pages side by side on one PDF page, also called a two-page spread. Automatic mode can turn each spread into two individual pages. Review and correct its decision for any page. Existing PDF text and vector artwork stay native.

Does this securely remove the other half?

No. The tool clips each reading page to its visible half. Underlying PDF objects may remain. Use a secure redaction tool to remove sensitive content.

Can I keep the cover?

Yes. Use Keep whole on the cover or select the first-page cover option. You can also keep index pages, tables and illustrations whole.

How is my file handled?

Your PDF is processed temporarily to prepare your download. Account and billing records are handled separately.
