These Terms of Use govern your use of the Grainy iOS application (“the App”), operated by Ambitious Analytics Labs LLC (“the Operator”).
By downloading or using Grainy, you agree to these Terms.
1. Scope of Service
Grainy provides tools to transform digital documents and images by applying visual effects such as noise, texture, rotation, and other artifacts to simulate printed, scanned, or aged appearances.
The App is provided “as is” and may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
- Certain features of Grainy require a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions are auto-renewable and processed exclusively through Apple In-App Purchases.
- Pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policies.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree that:
- You have the legal right to upload and process any files you use with the App.
- You will not use the App to violate applicable laws or regulations.
- You will not attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse the App or its infrastructure.
You are solely responsible for how you use the outputs generated by the App.
4. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the App, including its software, design, algorithms, and branding, belong to Ambitious Analytics Labs LLC.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Grainy is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy or suitability of processed outputs
- That results will meet any legal, professional, or institutional requirements
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Ambitious Analytics Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed USD $10.00.
This does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Legal Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App and its outputs complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional requirements. Some documents may legally require original signatures or physical handling; the App does not replace such requirements.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
